I'm back

Okay, I took a little time off after Fred Thompson dropped out of the race just to regroup and rethink where I want to go with this blog. I'm going back to the basics. The place where I'm rooted and know best. Education. The global warming Hoax. Stupid politicians or maybe they're smart and the people who keep voting for them are the stupid ones could be the reason why this country is going to hell in a hand basket. That government indoctrination camp...errr...public education...isn't what it's cracked up to be. Did I happen to mention that my kids will never set foot inside a public/government school again as long as I have breath in my body? I believe I have said that on many an occasion.

I firmly believe that the problem with politics is the misguided, craptastic education the working masses have received. They don't know the history behind our government or why the founding fathers set up our governing system the way they did. For our own good. To keep us out from under the system they'd left behind in the very country Americans seem to want to emulate. Britain. Canada. France! What makes their government so much more appealing?

Ah. I know what it is. The government gives their faithful citizens everything. Education. Medicine. Welfare. Socialism. Rob the filthy rich who earned their living to give to the too damned lazy to work or take responsibility for themselves crowd.

It's also the people who can't be bothered with something as trivial as doing a little research to see what is going on in the political world. Just vote whatever the polls say today. It sort of reminds me of something my momma used to say "If everyone was jumping off a bridge would you want to go with them?"

Uh. No. I'd rather avoid that particular train wreck.

Ah I know how you feel! But don't despair, we have to have a certain confidence in providence. We can't control ignoramuses. Taking care of our families, our jobs, our duties to God, those duties constitute majorly our duty to country. The call to fight is rare, though that may come too. In the meantime, we all need to take care of business at home. Maybe I'm talking mostly to myself. Wouldn't be the first time.
Much affection,
D. Ox

Nope, not talking to yourself at all. I hear ya! Unless you're one of those voices in my head...or maybe I'm a voice in yours? hmmmm.

I'm going to control what I have influence over and that is my children's education both academically and spiritually.
