You might be a racist when

you use the word Socialist.

Shame on McCain and Palin for using an old code word for black
Kansas City Star, by Lewis Diuguid

The "socialist" label that Sen. John McCain and his GOP presidential running mate Sarah Palin are trying to attach to Sen. Barack Obama actually has long and very ugly historical roots.J. Edgar Hoover, director of the FBI from 1924 to 1972, used the term liberally to describe African Americans who spent their lives fighting for equality.

So, if you use any word referring to Obama or his policies now, it's a code word to mean he's black so we can't talk about him at all? Do I understand that correctly?

It would seem to me that Mr. Obama has run out of any substantial facts to argue back with so he is now falling back on the race card. It would also seem to me that people are about tired of hearing the "It's racist!" screed as well.

No, you clearly don't understand anything. Since when is one word, the same as any word. I've never heard of the word socialism as a code word for black activists before, but the article's authors have made the case that it is. If you disagree, argue that point rather than the ridiculous strawman you constructed.
